Our Christmas was pretty good. We had Andrea over on Christmas Eve and we started on stuffing and cheesy potatoes for Christmas lunch with Nathan and Jen before we settled into some enjoyment of Christmas movies. Christmas morning was enjoyable and Santa treated us all well. Jeff and I got a king size down comforter on Black Friday and we have been LOVING it. It is nice and toasty and big enough that when one of us hogs the cover there is still some left over. We also got a really cool calendar frame from Andrea and we're excited to use that. Christmas day was also nice and we were able to talk to my parents on the phone and see Jeff's parents briefly before going over to Nathan and Jen's. We enjoyed our time with them also and spending time with the boys. They made a delicious turkey and ham and all the fixings lunch and it was delicious.
New Years Eve was spent with Jeff's sister and bro-in-law, Julie and Jeff. They hosted a Murder Mystery dinner (set in Egypt) and it was pretty enjoyable. We were assigned characters and dressed our parts. Jeff and I ended up being "old flames" and according to our part of the story Jeff killed my fiancee years ago in order to be with me. It was pretty fun to try to figure things out.
*costumes for the party (Jeff was the Egypt dig leader/archeologist and I was the Egyptian translator)*
We're excited for 2010 and to accomplish the things that we have set out to do for ourselves. I'm hoping to finish school sometime in August and Jeff is hoping to pass CFA Level 1 and move onto test for Level 2 in the summer. Hope everyone else is having a good beginning to their New Year also :)
